Daily Turkish drama series are one of the most popular parts of Sitel TV‘s schedule. Like many channels across the Balkans, Sitel fills several daytime and primetime slots with Turkish serials, dubbed or subtitled into Macedonian, that build loyal day-to-day audiences.
The current Turkish lineup
Three Turkish series anchor Sitel’s weekday schedule:
- Sherbet od Brusnica — a popular Turkish family drama, shown in an afternoon slot and again in primetime around 21:15.
- Skrieni vo Ljubovta (“Hidden in Love”) — a romantic drama that airs around midday and again at 19:45, just after the main news.
- Mojot Prekrasen Zivot (“My Wonderful Life”) — broadcast in the afternoon and late evening, around 22:30.
A new title, Luzni, has been promoted as coming soon, continuing the channel’s investment in the genre.
Why Turkish series work
Turkish dramas have become a staple of Macedonian television thanks to their long, emotionally driven storylines and daily rhythm, which keep viewers returning at the same time each day. For Sitel, they are a reliable way to hold the daytime and post-news audience.
