WIZZ AIR allowed all passengers to travel with hand luggage free of charge
WIZZ AIR, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has introduced a new hand baggage policy that allows all travelers to travel with one large hand luggage free of charge.
Passengers will automatically be entitled to bring one piece of hand luggage with a maximum of dimensions of 55x40x23 cm and a maximum weight of 10kg which are included in the price of the card. Passengers will also be able to import products purchased from the freerof at the airport after security checks.
For travelers requiring additional hand luggage, the WIZZ PRIORITY service allows passengers to carry an extra bag on the plane that will be placed under the seat with a maximum size of 40x30x18 cm, and guarantees that their free hand luggage will be placed in the cabin. The service also guarantees that its hand luggage (55x40x23 cm) will be placed in the cabin area. WIZZ PRIORITY also allows passengers to skip the waiting queue and be among the first to land on the plane (the WIZZ Priority service is available and the passengers will select WIZZ Go, WIZZ Plus and WIZZ Privilege Pass).
Johan W. Eichachen, Chief Marketing Officer of Wizz Air, said: “In Wizz Air, passenger satisfaction is our priority, which is why we have heard the return requirements of passengers and now we offer large manual luggage for free with every purchased ticket. This is another example of Wizz Air’s commitment to providing the best experience for our passengers from the moment they book their flight until landing the chosen destination.
