The new government has brought over 140 decisions to dismiss executives and members of board boards set up by the previous headset. This was how Nikola Gruevski started in 2006, at the very first government session.
For some experts, the “broom” for hundreds of directors and nearly a thousand members of the board of directors was illegal. However, it was not an obstacle for the new government to find a way to “legalize” the purge.
After 11 years Macedonia has for the first time a political government that is not headed by Nikola Gruevski. Compared to the way VMRO DPMNE took over the institutions, the work now goes slowly. What is the difference?
